Abstract:

Purpose - In this study, the perceptions of the quality of service of patients treated standing and bed in different types of hospitals have been studied through pre-examination services, medical services, personal needs satisfaction-examination services and physical overall appearance dimensions. Method - In the application section of the study, the data was collected in the province of Muğla with questions addressed to the participants who were treated standing and lying in the state, private or university hospital. The analysis of the data used variance analysis and independent t test findings - according to the results obtained, the level of service they perceive in relation to the private hospital is higher than the state hospital for all dimensions examined, and for other dimensions except the size of medical services is higher than the university hospital. The level of quality of the service they perceive in relation to the private hospital by sleeping patients is high according to the state and university hospitals for pre-examination services, personal needs satisfaction-examination services and basic patient sizes; and for the physical overall appearance size is high according to the state hospital only. The level of quality of service that patients who are treated standing and sleeping perceive is not different for the university hospital and the private hospital. In the state hospitals, the quality of service perceptions of patients who are treated by bed and bed are higher than those who are treated by stand. In this context, it seems difficult for patients who are treated standing and lying in addition to exceptional health services to be assessed as different stakeholders in terms of quality assessments.
