Goal: As a result of the increased use of the Internet and the ease of access, people have also increased their time spent on the Internet. The use of the Internet facilitates human life and contributes to social development, but the unconscious use brings with it some problems and dangers. This study was conducted with the aim of assessing the relationship between university students’ obesity and internet use. Method: The research was conducted with 313 students studying in the Department of Nursing, Department of Nutrition and Nutrition and Department of Social Services at the University of Bitlis Eren. The data of the study was collected using the personal information form and the Problematic Internet Use Scale. SPSS 22 for the analysis of the data obtained in the study. 0 Statistical package program was used. For statistical calculations the number, frequency, percentage, independent groups of t, Anova, Correlation tests were used. Results: The total PIK score of students was 126.9±25.3. According to the students' BKI, gender, age, class, section, the presence of their own computer and knowing how to connect to the internet when they want, the difference between the groups was not statistically important in comparison of the PIK total and sub-dimensional score average (p>0.05). The result: Students have a high rate of internet use and there is no connection between obesity and internet use. This study is also recommended in different sample groups.
