Abstract:

The excess of the performance of the factors and components that make up the economic freedom of the countries complement each other can lead to an increase in the performance of the economic freedom of the countries. In this context, the purpose of the research is to identify the relationship structure between economic freedom factors through the Multiple Compliance Analysis. The data set of the study constitutes the values of the factors listed in the Heritage Institution's Economic Freedom Index for 2020. The findings show that the rule of law, the free market and the effectiveness of the bureaucracy are close and consistent in space, but the limited state factor is far away and less consistent with other factors. Therefore, the superiority of law, the free market and the effectiveness of bureaucracy, respectively, have been observed, while the contribution of the free market factor to the relative structure is too small. Accordingly, it was concluded that countries should undertake activities to increase the relative intensity of the limited state factor with other factors in order to improve the performance of economic freedom in general.
