Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar öğretmen adaylarının genel olarak lisansüstü eğitime ilişkin olumlu görüşlere sahip olduklarını; ancak sınırlı bilgileri olduğunu göstermektedir. Çalışmada bazı öğretmen adayları öğretmenlerin lisansüstü eğitim almalarının gerekli olduğunu düşünmektedir. Öğretmen adayları lisansüstü eğitim alan öğretmenlerin bilgi ve beceriler açısından kendilerini geliştirerek mesleki başarılarını artırabileceklerini; böylece nitelikli öğrenciler yetiştirebileceklerini belirtmişlerdir. Bununla birlikte bazı öğretmen adayları öğretmenlik için lisansüstü eğitimin zorunlu olmasından çekinmekte ve lisansüstü eğitim alma sürecinde çeşitli güçlükler yaşayacaklarını düşünmektedir.
