Introduction: The quality of life of a worker is linked to his or her lifestyle inside and outside the work environment, which affects health. Objective: To evaluate the nutritional profile, lifestyle and occupational health of workers in a public institution. Methods: Cross-sectional, quantitative and descriptive study from August to November 2018, applying the questionnaire of the Brazilian Association of Research Enterprises (ABEP) 2012, assessed with the Economic Classification Criterion (CCEB), and questionnaire with health variables. tabulated and analyzed in Excel 2013 Software, applied inferential statistics. Results: 68 participants, administrative technician (67.65%) and teacher (32.35%), 53% male, from classes B1 and B2, mixed race with their own residence and college degree. 2.94% smoke and 1.47% drink alcohol. Satisfied with health, leisure, food and weight. They engage in physical activity more than twice a week for health purposes. They consume more than two meals a day, the main lunch at home. 52.94% are eutrophic, 36.77% are overweight, 8.82% have type I obesity and 1.47% type II obesity. 17.65% are hypertensive and 1.47% diabetic. They spend more time sitting and low back pain is prevalent and worsens with work. Musculoskeletal disorders were the most prevalent and most accentuated with the type of work. Conclusion: The group is overweight and low back pain is accentuated with the work performed, requiring ergonomic measures, and the encouragement of physical activity and balanced diet.
