Konsol İstinat Duvar Tasarımı Üzerine Parametrik Bir Çalışma

İstinat duvarları, genellikle yanal toprak basına karşı koymak amacıyla kullanılırlar. Tabii zeminler ve sıkıştırılmış dolgu zeminler uygun şev açılarına sahip değilse dengede duramayıp göçebilirler. Göçme uygun şev açıları veya istinat duvarı ile engellenebilir. Bu çalışmada, güvenli bir tasarım için gereken taban genişliğinin, istinat duvarının geometrik özellikleri (duvar yüksekliği, duvar kalınlığı, temel yüksekliği) ve dolgu malzemesinin özellikleri (birim hacim ağırlığı ve içsel sürtünme açısı) ile değişimi araştırılmıştır. Yapılan çalışma neticesinde, kayma ve dönmeye karşı güvenli bir tasarım için gereken taban genişliğinin, artan duvar yüksekliği ve artan dolgu birim hacim ağırlığı ile arttığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca, duvar kalınlığının ve temel yüksekliğinin etkisinin oldukça az olduğu ve artan birim hacim ağırlıkla bu etkinin ortadan kalktığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Artan dolgu içsel sürtünme açısı, beklendiği gibi güvenli bir tasarım için gereken taban genişliğini azaltmaktadır.

A Parametric Work on Console Resistance Wall Design

Abstract:

Extrusion walls are often used for the purpose of resisting side ground pressure. Of course, soils and compressed filling soils; if they don’t have the right shell angles, they can’t stand in balance and migrate. Immigration; can be prevented by suitable shell angles or the standing wall. In this study, the variation of the basin width required for a secure design, the geometric characteristics of the stone wall (wall height, wall thickness, basic height) and the characteristics of the filling material (unity volume weight and internal drain angle) was studied. As a result of the work, the basin width required for a safe design against swing and turning has increased with the increased height of the wall and the increased volume weight of the filling unit. Furthermore, the effect of the wall thickness and the basic height is quite small, and the increased unit volume weight has resulted in the disappearance of this effect. The increasing filling of the inner drilling angle reduces the base width required for a secure design as expected.

A Parametric Study On Design Of Cantilever Retaining Walls

Abstract:

Retaining walls are mainly used in order to resist lateral earth pressure. If soil or fill material stands with an unstable slope angle, there may be instabilities and shear failures. This situation can be prevented with retaining walls. The change in the width of base required for a safe design with some geometric properties of wall (height of wall, width of wall and height of base) and soil (unit weight and friction angle) is investigated in this study. It is observed that the width of base required to have adequate factor of safety against sliding and overturning increases considerably as height of wall and unit weight of backfill increases. It is also seen that the effect of wall thickness is very small and with increasing unit weight of backfill there is no effect of wall thickness. Increasing friction angle of fill material decreases the required width of base as expected.
