Abstract:

Günümüzde örgütlerin faaliyette bulunduğu doğal, teknolojik, ekonomik, sosyo-kültürel çevre faktörleri sürekli olarak değişmektedir. Özellikle son yıllarda teknoloji, enformasyon ve iletişim alanlarındaki değişim ve gelişmeler ve firmalar arasırekabet, örgütlerde yönetim ve karar verme konumunda bulunan yöneticilerin kontrol etmek durumunda olduklarıfaaliyetlerin sayısınıartırmaktadır. Gittikçe artan ve karmaşık bir hal alan işve faaliyetler, sınırlandırılmışzaman birimleri içinde etkinlikte bulunan yöneticilerin zaman baskısınıyoğun bir biçimde hissetmelerine neden olmaktadır. Dolayısıyla bu durum örgütler ve özellikle de yöneticiler açısından zamanın ve etkin zaman kullanı-mının önemini artırmaktadır. Bu çalışmada zaman, zaman yönetimi, zaman tuzakları, etkin zaman yönetimi davranışve teknikleri konularına yer verilmiştir.
