So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

Objective: Bipolar disorder (BD) is a serious psychiatric disorder characterized by episodes of mania and depression, usually beginning at an early age and often requiring hospitalization. The aim of this study was to compare the clinical and sociodemographic characteristics of the patients who were hospitalized in our inpatient clinic with the diagnosis of BD type 1 (BD1). Methods: Patients with the diagnosis of BD1 who were hospitalized in the psychiatry inpatient unit between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017 were included in the study. Results: There were a total of 69 patients with BD1, 31 of whom were female (44.92%) and 38 were male (55.08%). The age of onset was 23.0±5.39 years in females and 21.9±5.57 years in males (p=0.431). Fifty-one point sixty-one percent of the female and 28.94% of the male had a family history of psychiatric disorder (p=0.047). The present hospitalization time was 17.1±11.10 days. Total Young Mani Rating Scale (YMRS) scores at the admission to the inpatient unit were 38.4±11.77, and the YMRS scores at the discharge were 14.5±4.72 (p<0.001). There was delusion in 64.51% of female and 65.78% of male (p=0.912). Forty-five (65.2%) of the patients were hospitalized during the manic episode, 16 (23.2%) during the mixed episode and 8 (11.6%) during the depressive episode. Thirty-one (44.9%) of the patients were hospitalized in autumn. Conclusion: The findings of our study are consistent with previous studies on BD. Further studies are thought to be useful to determine the epidemiological characteristics of BD1.
