Abstract:

With the changing conditions of life, there are serious moral and social problems in society. The failure to solve these problems indicates that there is no consciousness of the common values of society. Therefore, it is necessary that the values of education be placed in every stage of the education system. The pre-school period is the period in which the foundation of the child's feelings, thoughts, behaviors and attitudes is thrown. The attitudes and behaviors gained during this period are also the foundations of the child's future life. It is therefore important to provide value education to the child from the early age. In the presentation of values education, the program’s content is an effective element in the provision of skills targeted to the teacher’s qualification. According to this information, the purpose of the study is to determine the views of pre-school teachers on the values of education. The study’s work group consists of 50 pre-school teachers working in pre-school educational institutions in the Silopi district, in the 2018-2019 educational year of the National Ministry of Education. In the study, the data was collected through the interview form created by the researchers. The data obtained was analyzed by visual analysis and content analysis method. As a result, pre-school teachers have determined the scope of the values education and how it should be applied and should be supported.
