The effects of Moving Part Protheses (HBP) on the quality of life of patients are important in the evaluation of clinical success. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of moving part protheses in a fixed or moving part prothesis and occular relationship on the quality of life of the patient. Tools and Methods: The study was carried out on 41 patients who performed a part-moving prothesis in at least one chest in the Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University's Protetic Dental Therapy Department between January and March 2018. The participants were asked OHIP-14 questions and evaluated their satisfaction with the active part protheses. The achieved results were evaluated according to the form of the prothesis, gender, educational status, income and oral health habits. Kruskall-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests were used in statistical analysis of data. Results: According to the study, gender, educational status and oral health habits had no impact on participants’ OHIP-14 scores (P>0.05). Comparing the OHIP-14 score of participants with HBP/Natural Dental-Fast Prothesis and participants with HBP/HBP Prothesis Couple, no significant differences were identified in the categories of psychological discomfort, physical insufficiency, psychological insufficiency, social incompatibility and disability (P>0.05). However, the scores in the functional disability and physical pain category were significantly higher in the HBP/HBP group (P<0.05). The result: Patients with HBP in both scars are more likely to experience physical pain and functional restrictions than patients with HBP in one scars.
