Abstract:

This research aims to identify the attitudes and environmental sensations of teachers candidates to the environment and to reveal the relationship between these variables. In this framework, the objective was moved according to the relative scan pattern from quantum approaches. The examples of the research are made up of 50 teachers candidates who study in the 3rd grade of the Atatürk University Science Knowledge Teaching Program. For the purpose of gathering data in the study, the Environmental Behavioral Measurement developed by Sontay, Gökdere and Master (2015) - the Environmental Behavioral Measurement developed by QDÖ and Okur and Yalçin Özdilek (2012) - has been used. The reliability of the scales was determined by the researchers who developed the scales in a row as α=.86 and α=.73. For this study, the reliability ratings were re-calculated and identified as α=.90 and α=.85. The data to be obtained in the study were first tested for normality, and then analysed the correlation of Spearman's sequence differences to determine the relationship between attitude and sensation to the environment. According to this, the knowledge of science has been determined that the environmental attitudes and environmental sensations of the teachers candidates are at a high level, but there is no meaningful relationship between the variables (p>.05).
