This paperstudies the content and the nature of the book: The History of the Albanian Literature, published by the Academy of Sciences of Albania (AShT, 1983). Like all the scholastic stories of Albanian Literature written so far, this book is written with dedication to the school system. Carefull observation will be paid to which authors and what works are considered subtypes, which ones are which are treated briefly, but also which ones do not appear at all as the literary value of the time. We always bear in mind the fact that the 1983 edition and the 1989 reprint are burdened with socio-cultural problemsof the time and ask why some authors are reduced in value and why some othersare left out altogether? This paper tries to answer this question.
