Abstract:

This research was carried out with the aim of making teachers prepared for organizational change and determining the levels of perception of organizational opposition during the distance learning process. The determination of whether the opinions of teachers show significant differences in terms of gender, civic status, level of learning and professional age variables have been taken as the sub-problems of the research and the opinions of teachers have been evaluated according to these independent variables. In this context, the general scan model is preferred as a research model. The universe of research is formed by teachers who work in the Van or Central Ipekyolu district. The sample of the study consists of a total of 231 teachers selected from different branches through the layer sample method from the universe. To collect data, the scale was used by Workman (2019) adapted to Turkish "Organizational Change Preparation Scale" and the scale "Organizational Opposition" adapted to Turkish by Mountain (2015). In addition, a "Personal Information Form" has been used on the personal information of teachers in four subjects (gender, civil status, level of education and professional status). The data collected statistics are made. The research found that teachers are prepared for organizational change and that the level of perception of organizational opposition is medium, that the perception of teachers are prepared for organizational change differs significantly according to their gender and professional backgrounds, and that they do not make significant differences in their civic conditions and graduation levels. It is also found that there is a high-level meaningful and positive relationship between the preparation of teachers for organizational change and the level of perception of organizational opposition; a medium-level meaningful and positive relationship between the preparation for organizational change and the level of perception of horizontal opposition; a high-level meaningful and positive relationship between the preparation for organizational change and the level of perception of horizontal opposition. It has been emphasized the importance of teachers to be supported by quality studies in terms of better understanding of the causes of the changes they experience and organizational opposition behavior, especially in the process of distance learning.
