Abstract:

The term “intertextuality” is described as all kind of lexical and formal relations among two or more texts. Based on that all the texts are nourished with another text, concepts and events are flourished in the terms of meaning and context, intertextuality is associated with tradition in one aspect. Tradition is reproduced with the other text that the text nourishes, the intelligence of the composing texts lies at the background of every text. Because of this, the approach of the method differs depending on the structure and feature of the text. “İstiklalMarşı”, that forms the subject of the study, will be evaluated as a literary study from this aspect, as far as the method allows intertextual looks will be pointed out.
