İnsanların eğlenme, dinlenme, hoş vakit geçirme gibi pek çok aktiviteyi yapabildiği kentsel açık ve yeşil alanların çeşitli sebepler ile tahrip edilmesi vandalizm olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Genel olarak insanlar tarafından sıklıkla kullanılan mesire ve rekreasyon alanları vandalizmin etkisi altında kalmaktadır. Bu alanlar, insanların kentlerin sıkıcı ve gürültülü havasından uzaklaştıkları ve dinlenebildikleri alanlardır. Bu özel alanlardaki oturma, barınma, korunma, ulaşım, aydınlatma, iletişim, oyun ve spor gibi temel fonksiyonları destekleyen peyzaj elemanlarının korunması ve fonksiyonelliğini uzun süre devam ettirmesi önemlidir. Kentsel açık ve yeşil alanlarda vandalizm olgusunun ortaya konulmaya çalışıldığı bu çalışmada, alan olarak Isparta ilinde yer alan kent dokusu içinde insanlara rekreasyon olanakları sağlayan Ayazmana Mesireliği ve Gökçay Mesireliği seçilmiştir. Bu alanlarda, daha önce hazırlanmış olan gözlem formundan yararlanılarak elde edilen veriler değerlendirilmiş, çekilen fotoğraflarla alanlardaki kullanımların ve donatıların mevcut durumları ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda Ayazmana ve Gökçay Mesire Alanlarının çoğunlukla piknik yapma ve dinlenme etkinlikleri için kullanıldığı belirlenmiştir. Her iki alan da özellikle hafta sonları çok yoğun ziyaret edilmektedir ve özellikle yaz aylarında ziyaretçi kapasitesinin üzerinde kullanılmaktadır. Bu mesire alanlarında yapılan çalışmalarda, özellikle piknik masaları ve oturma elemanlarında önemli şekilde vandalizm örnekleri gözlemlenmiştir.
Urban open and green areas where people can do many activities, such as fun, rest, enjoy, are destroyed by various reasons, causing vandalism. In general, the Egyptian and recreational areas that are often used by humans are under the influence of vandalism. These areas are areas where people can get away from the boring and noisy air of the cities and relax. It is important that peasant elements that support basic functions such as sitting, accommodation, protection, transportation, lighting, communication, play and sport in these special areas maintain their conservation and functionality for a long time. In this study, where the event of vandalism in urban open and green areas is attempted to be revealed, the Ayazmana Egyptian and Gökçay Egyptian, which provide people with recreation opportunities within the city tissue located in the province of Isparta, have been selected. In these fields, the data obtained using the previously prepared observation form has been evaluated, with the photographs taken, the current conditions of use and equipment in the fields have been tried to reveal. These areas are the places where people can get away from the boring and noisy atmosphere of the cities and relax. It is important that the landscape elements supporting important functions such as sitting, sheltering, protection, transportation, lighting, communication, games and sports in these special areas these features should be maintained for a long time. In this study, the vandalism in urban open and green areas is tried to be revealed, Ayazmana and Gökçay reserved green areas, which provides recreation opportunities for people in the urban life for Isparta residents, has been selected. In these areas, the data obtained from the observation form prepared earlier were evaluated and the current conditions of the uses and the equipments in the areas were tried to be revealed with the photographs taken. As a result of the research, Ayazmana and Gökçay Recreation areas are mostly used for picnic and some recreation activities. Both areas are heavily visited especially during the weekends and are used above the visitor capacity, especially in summer. Significant examples of vandalism were observed especially in picnic tables and seating elements in these areas.
