Bu çalışma fen ve teknoloji öğretmenlerinin bilimin doğasını nasıl algıladıklarını ve bilimin doğası hakkındaki görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada özel durum metodolojisi kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak açık uçlu anketten yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini 26 fen ve teknoloji öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma sonucunda çalışmaya katılan öğretmenlerin çoğunun bilimin doğasının birçok özelliğinde gerçekçi bakış açısına sahip olmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Hizmet içi eğitim HİE kursları ile öğretmenlerin bilimin doğasının içeriği konusunda bilgilendirilmesi ve HİE kurslarında bilimin doğasının öğrenme ortamlarında nasıl etkili bir şekilde uygulanacağına dair örnek uygulamalara yer verilmesi gerektiği önerilmektedir
in order to determine the nature of science and technology teachers, special condition methodology was used in the study was used as an open-end survey as data collection tool, the example of the study was created by 26 pheno and technology teachers as a result of the study, most of the teachers who participated in the study were not having realistic perspective in many features of the nature of science, with in-service training hie courses, the teachers should be informed about the content of the nature of science and how science will be effectively applied in learning environments in hie courses
