The police clothes of the Alliance and Terakki Community have brought the trace of a certain culture or understanding that was used until the mid-1930s. Therefore, in the process from the 1908s to the late 1930s, the changes on police uniform, in essence, from the Ottoman to the Republic, revealed the understanding of the police body and the state structure it represents. This structure is a realistic approach that cannot be considered independent of the police of the former Abdülhamit period and the police of the Republic after that. If the architect of the Second Legacy is considered to be the Alliance and Terakki Society and the idea of the Republic’s laboratory is based on Legacy, the changes in the police clothes in the period of time extending to the late 1930s have a significant place. However, with the assessments to be made from Legacy to Republic through clothes, the number of times of evolution occurring in both the understanding of state administration and in the sense of social transformation has been revealed. With this work, it is not only the approach of the Alliance and Terakki Community to the police and police clothes but also the reflection of the Monarchy, Legacy and Republic's culture of understanding to the police perception or image. This manada origin extends to 1845s from the establishment of the police officer to the first period of the Republic, the journey that it has accompanied for almost a century has been discussed through the process of transformation and development of clothes.
