Abstract:

In order to spread the production of insect fertilizer, which is a variety of organic fertilizers in this study, to the decision makers who consider investing in this field, the existence of the investment, different limits (budget, area, technical, etc.) A decision support system has been developed to support the quantity of fertilizer to be produced, the costs to be produced and the economic analysis supported by graphics. In order to ensure the accuracy of the information that the decision support system will provide to the decision maker, first of all, an establishment located in the border of Eskişehir province has been thoroughly examined, a predictive model that can predict the change of the amount of insects in time has been created and all the cost pen that a insect fertilizer facility should be involved in the study of the existence has been determined. A decision model has also been developed to reduce the amount of insect fertilizer produced under budget limits and to determine the method of production and production capacity to be chosen. As the developed decision support system will allow investors to easily carry out real estate and economic analyses, it is expected to contribute to the spread of insect production. This will bring positive results for the country’s economy, the environment and human health.
