Bu çalışma spor yapan ve yapmayan bireyler arasındaki kişilik tipleri ve sosyal bütünleşme düzeylerinin incelenmesi amacı ile yapılmıştır. Bu araştırmada genel tarama modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın grubunu liselerde 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim döneminde öğrenim gören lise 1, 2, 3 ve 4 sınıf 152 kadın 148 erkek olmak üzere toplam 300 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Grup oluşumu, seçkisiz olmayan örnekleme yöntemlerinden uygun (kazara) örnekleme yöntemiyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak anket kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılacak olan anket formları araştırmacı tarafından yüz yüze görüşme yöntemiyle bireylere ulaştırılmıştır. Bu araştırmada: bireylerin demografik özellikleri elde etmek için ‘Kişisel Bilgi Formu’ kullanıldı. Ayrıca bireylerin, kişilik tiplerini belirlemek için, Goldberg (1999) tarafından geliştirilen, “Kişilik Tipleri Ölçeği” ve bireylerin sporda bütünleşme düzeylerini ölçmek için, Yılmaz ve ark. (2007) tarafından geliştirilen “Sporda Sosyal Bütünleşme Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler SPSS programı aracılığıyla bilgisayar ortamında analiz edildi. Sonuç olarak, cinsiyet, eğitin durumu, lisanslı sporcu olup/olmama durumu, spor türü ve sağlık amaçlı spor yapma değişenlerine göre kişilik tipleri ve sporda bütünleşme ölçek toplam puanları açısından anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte, yaş ve ölçek alt boyutları arasında da düşük ve orta düzeyde pozitif ilişki olduğu rapor edilmiştir.
This study was conducted with the aim of studying the personality types and levels of social integration between individuals who do sports and do not. In this study, a relative scanning model was used from general scanning models. The research group consists of a total of 300 students, including 152 women in high school 1, 2, 3 and 4 classes, 148 men, who studied during the 2018-2019 educational teaching period. The formation of the group was performed by the method of sample (casara) in accordance with the non-selective sample method. The survey was used as a data collection tool. The survey forms that will be used in the research were transmitted to individuals by the researcher through the face-to-face conversation method. In this study: the 'Personal Information Form' was used to obtain the demographic characteristics of individuals. Also to determine the personality types of individuals, developed by Goldberg (1999), the "Personality Types Scale" and to measure the levels of integration of individuals in sport, Yılmaz and ark. It was developed by the "Sports Social Integration Scale" (2007). The data obtained in the study was analyzed in a computer environment through the SPSS program. As a result, the gender, the status of education, the status of a licensed athlete, the type of sport and the variants of sporting for health purposes, the personality types and the scale of integration in sport have made significant differences in terms of the total points. Personality traits influence behavior and motivation related to social integration. For this reason, this research is important in terms of the fact that the sport which is thought to be a social environment and provides the socialization of individuals will contribute to the development of personality traits and as a tool to help psychologists. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationships and interactions between the level of social integration in sports and personality types. In this study, relational survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used. The research group of this study consists of 152 female and 148 male high school and university students who study in sports sciences in Niğde province, selected by convenience (accidental) sampling method and criteria sampling method from random sampling methods. Survey method was used as data collection tool. The first part of the three-part questionnaire contains the "social integration scale in sports" developed by Yilmaz et al. (2007), the second part contains the personality types scale adapted to Turkish by Sudak and Zehir (2013) developed by Goldberg (1990), and the third part contains the personal data form. In addition to descriptive statistics in the analysis of the data; normality tests, Pearson correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis were used. In addition, the Z score was calculated and the differences between the groups were examined in order to compare the r values that appeared in the binary correlation analysis by dividing them into groups. As a result of the analysis, significant positive correlations were found between the sub-dimensions of the two measurement instruments at low, medium and high levels in general. As a result, sports are a very important tool for the development of personality along with the social integration of individuals.
