Devlet ve toplum olarak her devirde sanata ve edebiyata önem veren Osmanlı; işçiliği, estetiği ve ifade çeşitliliğiyle kendisine hayran bıraktıran nice eserin sahibi ve hamisidir. Sözün devlet, millet, din ve diyanet için önemli bir araç olduğunu kavrayan Osmanlı yöneticileri, bu öneme atfen, söz işçileri ve işleyicileri olan şairlere ve ediplere özel fırsat ve imkânlar vermişlerdir. Ayrıcalıklarının farkında olan şair ve mütefekkirler de, padişahlara ve devlet adamlarına çeşitli vesilelerle manzumeler sunarak maddi gelir, imtiyaz ve itibar kazanmak şansını değerlendirmişlerdir. Padişahların yakın çevrelerinde bulunma lütfuna erişen sanatkârlar böylelikle kaleme aldıkları edebî eserlerin ebedîliğini elde etmenin yanı sıra; devletin ve devlet adamlarının varlığına varlık, zarafet ve ihtişam katmışlardır. Devlet adamlarına “takdim-i sühan etme geleneği”nin bir vasıtası olan ve rakamları harflerle ifade etmek manasına gelen “ebced” aracılığıyla önemli kabul edilen olaylara “tarih düşürme”, şiirin tarihsel bir boyutu, şairliğin sosyal bir yönü olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Osmanlı saraylarında şiire ve şaire verilen önemin bir yansıması olarak şairlerin divanlarında dönemin padişahlarına ve devlet adamlarına kasideler yazıldığı ve çeşitli olaylara tarihler düşürüldüğü görülmektedir.XIX. yüzyıl klasik Türk edebiyatının meşhur kadın şairlerinden Şeref Hanım, sade ve güçlü nazım tekniğiyle divan şiiri sahasında müstesna bir yere sahiptir. Dinî, tasavvufi, tarihî ve edebî bir eğitim aldığının güçlü delilleriyle dolu olan divanında Şeref Hanım, bilhassa yazdığı tarih manzumeleriyle güncel ve içtimai pek çok bilgiyi eserine kaydetmiştir. -Kuvvetle muhtemel- evlenmediği düşünülen Şeref Hanım’ın hayatının belli bir döneminde geçimini sağlamak için devlet büyüklerine muhtelif manzumeler yazdığı Divan’ında sabittir. Düşüncelerini açık ve şairane bir biçimde ifade edebilen Şeref Hanım’ın Osmanlı Devleti’nin padişah ve yöneticilerini konu ettiği manzumeleri, edebiyatın tarihle münasebeti bakımından dikkate değerdir. Bu bağlamda çalışmamızda; başta Sultan Abdülmecîd ile Sadrazam Ali Paşa olmak üzere pek çok devlet adamının ismine ve Encümen-i Dâniş’in de zikrine tesadüf ettiğimiz Şeref Hanım Dîvânı’nda, şairin, padişah ve devlet ricaline dair kaleme aldığı ifadeler ve manzumeler incelenmiş, edebiyat ve tarih ilişkisi çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir.

The “history” of the events considered important through the “ebced” which is a means of the “tradition of predicting” to the state men and which means expressing the numbers in letters, a historical dimension of the poem comes to us as a social aspect of poetry. As a reflection of the importance given to the poetry and the poetry in the Ottoman palaces, it is seen that in the divines of the poets the pastors of the time and the men of the state are written and the dates are reduced to various events. One of the famous female poets of the classical Turkish literature of the century, Sheref Mrs. has an exceptional place in the divan poetry field with its simple and powerful nazim technique. In the divine filled with strong evidence that he received a religious, tasavvufi, historical and literary education, the Honorary Lady, in particular, has recorded many current and intrinsic information in his work with his historical manuscripts. The manuscripts of the Honour Lady, who can express her thoughts in a clear and poetical manner, which addresses the Ottoman State's padişah and governors, are worth consideration in terms of the relevance of literature to history. In this context, in our work, in the name of many state men, including Sultan Abdülmecîd and Sadrazam Ali Pasha, and in the Honorary Lady Dîvâny, in which we have coincided with the memory of Encümen-i Dâniş, the poet, the padişah and the state rical have been studied and evaluated in the framework of literary and historical relationships.
