Abstract:

This article discusses the postmodern museum concept, epistemological definitions and future scientific theories. Postmodern museums are also in the forefront of visitors-oriented interaction and participation. In addition, the role of the curator is also significantly changing in the face of the increasing new responsibilities of the museums. This situation increases the role of the museums on how they work, interpret and communicate. This article aims to determine how these changes affect both the practitioner and the theory of the museum, looking at some theoretical perspectives of the postmodern museum and how curators take greater responsibilities in their daily activities. Transformation and futurology are the transformative power that revolves around the needs of museums to constantly transform information and to become museums of the future. In this context, the Converter Museum concept offers us a new museum model and also summarizes the challenges that museums face.
