Matematik Öğretiminde Problem Çözme Stratejisi Olarak Canlandırma Kullanılmasının Öğrenci Başarısına ve Hatırlama Düzeyine Etkisi

Bu araştırmada, “canlandırma yönteminin ilköğretim 5.sınıf öğrencilerinin matematik derslerindeki problem çözme sürecinde öğrencinin başarı ve hatırlama düzeylerine etkisi var mıdır?” sorusunun araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, İstanbul ili, Anadolu yakasındaki bir ilköğretim okulunun 5. sınıfında öğrenim gören toplam 76 öğrenci üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Çalışma başlangıcında her iki gruba 10 tane rutin olmayan sorudan oluşan ön test uygulanmıştır. Bu test, aynı zamanda son test ve hatırlama testi olarak yeniden kullanılmıştır İlköğretim 5. sınıf programındaki problem çözme süreci göz önüne alınarak, deney grubundaki öğrencilerle yapılan derste problemler canlandırılmış, kontrol grubundaki öğrencilerle ise düz anlatımla problem çözme süreci gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucu canlandırma yönteminin kullanıldığı deney grubunun düz anlatımın kullanıldığı kontrol grubuna göre problem çözme ve hatırlamada daha yüksek başarıya sahip olduğunu göstermiştir.

Abstract:

In this study, "Do the animation method have an impact on the student's success and level of memory in the problem-solving process of primary 5th grade students in math lessons?" It is intended to investigate the question. The study was conducted on a total of 76 students who studied in the 5th grade of a primary school on the side of Istanbul, Anadolu. At the beginning of the study, the two groups were subjected to a preliminary test consisting of 10 non-rutinely questions. This test was also reused as the last test and memory test, taking into account the problem-solving process in Primary Education 5th class program, the problem-solving process was carried out in the class with the students in the experiment group, and the problem-solving process was carried out with the students in the control group. The results of the research showed that the experimental group in which the reproduction method was used had higher success in problem-solving and memory compared to the control group in which the straight description was used.
