In this study, the parasitological distribution of the Neoechinorhynchus rutili (Acanthocephala) found in the 30 Capoeta trutta supplied from the Murat River (Karabalık) was studied. It was also intended to study the intestinal tissues of parasites from a biochemical and histopathological perspective. The prevalence of the parasite was estimated at 66.6%, the average intensity 38.5 and the average abundance 25.66. in the work; 1. Group (Control); non-parasitic fish, 2. The group (a group of fish less infected with parasites); fish less than 30 parasites, 3. The group (fish group highly infected with parasites); it was divided into 3 groups as fish with more than 30 parasites. Superoxid dismutase (SOD) in the intestinal tissue, catalase (KAT) and glutation peroxidase (GPx) enzyme activities are compared to groups 1 and 3. It was found lower in the group (p<0.05). Glutathone (GSH) levels per infected fish group 1. It was lower in the group. The level of malondialdehitis (MDA) is 1. Compared to the group, 2 and 3. It was found to be higher in groups (p<0.05). In the histopathological study, the control group found that pathological changes in the intestines of infected fish were more noticeable. According to the results of this study, there were biochemical and histopathological changes according to the intensity of parasites in infected fish with N. rutili.
