Bu araştırmanın amacı ruh sağlığı profesyonellerinin ve adaylarının affetme düzeylerini incelemektir. Araştırmaya, 101 psikolojik danışman adayı, 141 psikolog adayı, 115 psikolojik danışman ve 165 psikolog olmak üzere toplam 522 ruh sağlığı profesyoneli ve adayı katılmıştır. Affetme düzeyini belirlemek amacıyla Affetme Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Tek Yönlü MANOVA sonucunda, çalışan ruh sağlığı profesyonellerinin kendini affetme düzeylerinin adaylara göre anlamlı düzeyde daha yüksek olduğu psikolojik danışman adaylarının başkasını affetme düzeylerinin ise diğerlerine göre anlamlı ölçüde daha düşük olduğu bulunmuştur. İki Yönlü ANOVA sonuçlarına göre ise, kadın ve erkeklerin affetme düzeylerinin anlamlı ölçüde farklılık göstermediği daha uzun süre mesleki deneyimi olan ruh sağlığı profesyonellerinin affetme düzeylerinin anlamlı ölçüde daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Lisans eğitimi gören psikolog adaylarının ve psikolojik danışman adaylarının başkasını affetme düzeylerinde ortaya çıkan farklılık, meslek çalışanlarında görülmemiştir. Elde edilen bulgular ilgili alanyazın ışığında tartışılmıştır.
The aim of this research is to study the levels of forgiveness of mental health professionals and candidates. The study included a total of 522 mental health professionals and candidates, including 101 psychiatric consultants, 141 psychologists, 115 psychiatric consultants and 165 psychologists. The measure of forgiveness is used to determine the level of forgiveness. The One Direction MANOVA resulted in the fact that the levels of self-forgiveness of working mental health professionals were significantly higher than the candidates; the levels of self-forgiveness of the candidates for psychological consultants were significantly lower than the others. According to the two-way ANOVA findings, the levels of forgiveness among men and women are not significantly different; the levels of forgiveness among mental health professionals with longer professional experience are significantly higher. The difference that occurs in the levels of forgiveness of psychologist candidates and psychologist candidates who are graduated has not been seen in the professional staff. The findings obtained were discussed in the light of the area.
The aim of this study is to examine forgiveness levels of the mental health professionals and candidates. 552 health care professionals and candidates in total participated in the study, of which 101 are psychological counselor candidates, 141 are psychologist candidates, 115 are psychological counselors, and 165 are psychologists. Forgiveness Scale was used in order to determine the level of forgiveness. According to the results of One-Way MANOVA, it was found that the self-forgiveness levels of the mental health professionals were significantly higher than those of candidates, and the forgiveness of others levels of the psychological counselor candidates were significantly lower than those of the other groups. According to the results of Two-Way ANOVA, forgiveness levels of males and females did not differ significantly; forgiveness levels of the mental health professionals who have longer years of professional experience were significantly higher than those of the other groups. The variance that arises in forgiveness of others levels of the psychologist candidates and psychological counselor candidates who receive undergraduate education was not found in the professionals that work in the field. The findings were discussed in the light of related literature.
