Objective:This study aimed to analyze nurses’ anxiety and hopelessness levels during the period of COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Designed as a descriptive and correlational research, this study was performed with the participation of 622 nurses actively working for healthcare facilities in eastern Turkey. Results: Research data were collected online via Personal Information Form, Beck Anxiety Inventory and Beck Hopelessness Scale. It was ascertained that nurses’ mean anxiety and hopelessness scores were successively 18.00±12.73 and 8.99±5.65 points, and there was a statistically significant positive association between the mean anxiety scores and mean hopelessness scores (p˂0.05).
