Çatı kategorisi; Türk dilinin yeni bir konusu olmamasına karşın farklı tanım, sınıflandırma ve sonuca ulaşmayan tartışmalarıyla henüz üzerine görüş birliği sağlanamayan meselelerinden biridir. Türkçenin sondan eklemeli bir dil olması fiillerin çatı eklerini belirli bir düzende ardı ardına beş kereye kadar almasına imkân tanımaktadır. Fiillere getirilen 2. ve sonraki çatı ekleri, kendinden önceki çatı ekinin işlevini sonlandırmaz; fiilin özne veya nesne bağlantısını etkileyebilir ya da çatıyı kuvvetlendirebilir. Bu çalışmada Türkçenin yapısal zenginliğine katkı sağlayacağı düşüncesiyle morfolojik yöntemle oluşturulan çatılar yapılarına göre sınıflandırılarak Basit, Türemiş, Birleşik ve Katmerli olarak dört yapıda incelenerek üst üste getirilen çatı ekleri üzere bir tasnif denemesi yapılmıştır.
Although, It is not a new subject of Turkish language, Voice category is one of the issues not agreed, with its different definitions, classifications and inconclusive discussions by now. Due to being an agglutinative language, Turkish allows verbs to take up to 5 voice suffixes consecutive times in a specific order. The second and subsequent voice suffixes added to the verbs doesn’t put an end suffixes functions, added previously. However, It may effects subject or object connection of verb or strenghen voice. In this study, with the aim of contributing structural richness of Turkish, a classification attempt -which is formed by the morphological method- has been made on the voice suffixes, which is classified according to their structures, and examined in four structures as Simple, Derived, Compound and multiple.
