Bu araştırmanın amacı, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin ve ebeveynlerinin okul bahçesi kullanımı ve bahçede oyun oynamaya ilişkin görüşlerinin alınmasıdır. Araştırma 2020- 2021 eğitim-öğretim yılı içerisinde İstanbul ili Bayrampaşa ilçesinde bulunan Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı devlet okullarının anaokulu bünyesinde eğitim gören çocukların velilerinden ve öğretmenlerinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada 200 veli ve 20 öğretmen yer almaktadır. Araştırmada nicel ve nitel yöntemler birlikte kullanılarak karma yöntem uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada nicel verileri toplamak amacıyla, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen 3’lü likert tipi bir anket kullanılmıştır. Nitel verileri toplamak için ise araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen, 2 tanesi velilere, 2 tanesi ise öğretmenlere olmak üzere toplam 4 klasik soru kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre; ankete katılım sağlayan öğretmen ve velilerin, okul bahçesi kullanımı ve bahçede oyun oynamaya yönelik görüşleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılaşma gözlenmemiştir. Araştırmaya katılan ebeveynlerin yaş ve öğrenim durumuna ilişkin yapılan analizlerde, görüşlerinin bu değişkenlere bağlı olarak anlamlı bir farklılık göstermediği gözlemlenmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin yaş durumuna ilişkin yapılan analizlerde, görüşlerin yaş değişkenine bağlı olarak anlamlı bir farklılık göstermediği belirlenmiştir. Yapılan bu analizler sonucunda, okul bahçesi kullanımı ve okul bahçesinde oyun oynamaya ilişkin görüşlerin yaş ve öğrenim durumuna bağlı olarak değişkenlik göstermediği sonucuna varılmıştır.
The aim of this research is to draw the views of pre-school teachers and their parents on the use of school garden and playing games in the garden. The study consists of parents and teachers of children who are educated in the parental school of the state schools associated with the Ministry of National Education located in Istanbul or Bayrampaşa in the educational year 2020-2021. The study includes 200 teachers and 20 teachers. In the study, quantum and qualitative methods were applied together by the karma method. In order to collect quantitative data in the study, a survey of the likert type 3 developed by the researcher was used. For the collection of quality data, the researchers developed a total of 4 classical questions, 2 of which were asked to the guardians and 2 to the teachers. According to the research findings, there was no significant differentiation between the views of teachers and guardians who participated in the survey, the use of the school garden and the play in the garden. Analysis of the age and educational status of the parents involved in the study found that their opinions did not differ significantly depending on these variables. Analysis of the age of the teachers involved in the study found that the views did not show significant differences depending on the age variation. These analyses concluded that the views on the use of the school garden and playing in the school garden did not vary depending on age and learning status.
