Teknoloji tarihsel gelişimi süresince gündelik pratiklere ve rasyonel insana yönelik olumlu ve olumsuz birçok yeniliği beraberinde getirmiştir. Gündelik pratikleri kolaylaştırmakta olan teknoloji, daha en başından makineleşmenin ve otomasyonun insanın rasyonel yetisini araçsallaştırması açısından eleştirilmiştir. Gelişen teknolojiyle nesneler akıllı ve iletişim becerisine sahip hâle geldikçe rasyonel aklın araçsal akla teslimiyeti de artmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı da teknolojinin ürünleriyle tasarlanan akıllı kentler ve uygulamaları üzerinden insanın düşünsel yetisinin aşırı otomasyonla karşı karşıya kalmasının neden olduğu ve olabileceği olumsuz sonuçları eleştirel teoriden ve teknolojik belirlenimci düşünürlerin bakış açılarından yararlanarak değerlendirmektir. Nesnelerin interneti ve yapay zekâ teknolojileriyle akıllı bir hâle gelen kent, insanın düşünsel yetisini yapay zekâyla uyumlu hâle getirmektedir. Bu gelişme, insan aklının belli işlevlerinin uyarlandığı robotlar ve akıllı makineler ile insan arasındaki etkileşimi ve iletişimi artırarak insanı da robota yakınlaştırmaktadır. Çalışma her geçen gün insana benzemekte olan robotların ve akıllı makinelerin insanları da yapay zekâlarıyla kendilerine benzetebilme olasılığını tartışma amacı taşımaktadır. Doktora tez konusundan üretilmiştir.
Technology has brought many positive and negative innovations to daily practices and to the rational man during its historical development. The technology that facilitates daily practices has been criticized from the very beginning in terms of machinery and automation of the rational capacity of man. With the advanced technology, as objects are intelligent and communicating skills, the means of the rational mind is also increasing. The aim of this study is to evaluate the negative consequences that the human mental ability faces with excessive automation through the smart cities and practices designed with the products of technology, and the negative consequences that it can be, using the critical theory and the perspectives of technologically determining thinkers. The city becomes an intelligent state with the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence technologies, bringing the mental capacity of man into harmony with artificial intelligence. This evolution increases the interaction and communication between robots and intelligent machines and humans, where certain functions of human mind are adjusted, and makes humans closer to robots. The study aims to discuss the possibility that robots and intelligent machines, which are everyday similar to humans, can also compare humans with artificial intelligence. The doctor’s thesis was produced.
