In the second half of the 20th century, an intense workers' migration from Turkey took place to work in Germany, which was tired of the Second World War. The Turks, who have been temporarily here for economic reasons, have continued their existence for more than half a century and have shown that they are permanent. In this process, they have experienced a variety of socio-economic problems. But it is possible to say that the young generation born and growing there, naturally, has not the same harmony problems as the Turkish immigrants who migrated years ago. The subject of this study is the analysis of the perceptions of the Turkish people living in Germany about Turkey through metaphors. In the German city of Herrenberg, the Turkish citizen said: “I think the Turkish citizen... as if. “There’s a request for them to complete the phrase. 132 participants participated in the study with non-metaphors or phrases not included in the study. In the study, the phenomenology (fenomenology) design was used. 75 metaphors were obtained from the data examined through content analysis, and 8 of them were created in categories. These categories are: Requirements, Nationalism, Wealth, Family, Functionality, Emotions, Fatherland and Unity. These are the categories of need and country categories with the most metaforic categories.
