Amaç: El ve el bilekte yumuşak doku kitlesi ile kliniğimize başvurup eksizyonel cerrahi tedavi uyguladığımız hastaların kısa dönem sonuçları değerlendirildi. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya, Aralık 2017 ile Mayıs 2019 tarihleri arasında eksizyonel cerrahi tedavi uygulanan 34 hasta (25 bayan, 9 erkek) dahil edildi. Bu hastalarda yineleme oranı ve mennuniyet oranları değerlendirildi. Cerrahi sonrası yara yeri enfeksiyonu ve nörovasküler yaralanma gibi komplikasyonlar değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Hastaların yaş ortalaması 42,6 (29-57). Hastaların 25’i (%73,6) bayan, 9’u (%26,4) erkek idi. Hastalar ortalama 13 ay (10-18) takip edildi. Bu hastaların ameliyat sonrası patoloji sonuçlarında; 20 hastada ganglion kisti, 6 hastada epidermal inklüzyon kisti, 4 hastada tendon kılıfı dev hücreli tümör, 2 hastada lipom, 1 hastada hemanjiom ve 1 hastada düşük dereceli (low grade) liposarkom şeklinde sonuç alındı. Hastalarda yineleme izlenmedi. Hastaların tamamı, cerrahi tedaviden memnun kaldıklarını belirtti. Sonuç: El ve el bilek yumuşak doku tümörü olan hastalarda uygulanan düzgün ve başarılı eksizyonel cerrahi tedavi; nüks ve komplikasyon gelişmemesi açısından yararlı bir yöntem olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Anahtar kelimeler: Eksizyonel cerrahi tedavi; el ve el bilek; yumuşak doku tümörü ABSTRACT Objective: In this study, we report our short-term results of excisional surgery in patients with soft tissue tumors of the hand and wrist. Material and Method: A total of 34 patients who were admitted with a soft tissue lesion of the hand and wrist and underwent excisional surgery in our clinic between December 2017 and May 2019 were included. Recurrence rate and patient satisfaction were evaluated. Postoperative complications such as wound infections and neurovascular events were recorded. Results: Of the patients, 25 (73.6%) were females and 9 (26.4%) were males. The mean age was 42.6 (range, 29 to 57) years. The mean follow-up was 13 (range, 10 to 18) months. Pathological examination results were reported as a ganglion cyst in 20, an epidermal inclusion cyst in six, a giant cell tumor of tendon sheath in four, a lipoma in two, a hemangioma in one, and a low-grade liposarcoma in one patient. No recurrence was seen in any of the patients. The rate of patient satisfaction was 100% in all patients. Discussion and Conclusion: Our study results suggest that a well-planned excisional surgery is an effective and feasible method for the treatment of soft tissue tumors of the hand and wrist and has no potential risk for recurrence or postoperative complications. Purpose: With the soft tissue mass in the hand and hand, we consulted our clinic and evaluated the short-term results of patients we applied excision surgery. Tools and Methods: The study included 34 patients (25 women, 9 men) who were subjected to exitional surgical treatment between December 2017 and May 2019. These patients have been evaluated the rate of recurrence and well-being. Complications such as post-chirurgical wound site infection and neurovascular injury have been assessed. The average age of patients is 42.6 (29-57). 25 of the patients (73.6 percent) were female and 9 (26.4 percent) male. Patients were followed for an average of 13 months (10-18 months). The results of postoperative pathology of these patients were: 20 patients with ganglion cysts, 6 patients with epidermal inclusion cysts, 4 patients with tendon cells with huge cell tumors, 2 patients with lipoma, 1 patient with hemangioma and 1 patient with low degree (low degree) liposarcoma. Patients were not observed. All patients said they were pleased with the surgery. The result: proper and successful excision surgery applied in patients with hand and hand arm soft tissue tumor is a useful method for the development of nuts and complications.
