Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the experience of research consultancy of school guided teachers candidates in the Associate Research Consultancy Program (AADP) applied in the course of Research Methods given at the bachelor's level. In the study, the state study method was used and the maximum diversity sampling was used to complete the course of Research Methods conducted at an international university in the Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic, 10 school guides teacher candidate was identified as a co-research consultant. Associate research consultants are accompanied with school guide teachers candidates who are taking the lesson. Related research consultants who complete the relevant training module have guided their colleagues to write an effective research recommendation. Data was obtained through qualitative surveys from 10 co-research consultants and 9 consultants. The data is subject to content analysis using NVivo 11 Plus. The research results show that the co-consulting process contributes to co-consulters to acquire first-hand research consulting experience; that they update their knowledge and skills in the field of research; that they enhance their research self-capacity and interests, and that they develop their communication skills.
