Flood is the most common natural disaster in the world. It is important to obtain the data easily and in a short time in the analysis and evaluation of natural disasters. For this reason, remote sensing methods are one of the most important sources in determining flood areas and in post-flood studies. In this study, flood areas occurring in Düzce province were analyzed by using satellite images. Flood affected areas were determined by the object-based classification method using Sentinel-2A satellite images. Flood areas detected by using 6 satellite images of different dates were compared. In the study, it was seen that the water-covered area detected during the flood was different than pre-flood and post-flood. Also, in the examined satellite images that the excess water that caused the flood returned to the bottom of the river in a short time.
