Abstract:

Translationability has proven its own existence as an independent scientific field and the existence of interdisciplinary fields of study in which it interferes. It is inevitable that translation, which has a wide field of interdisciplinary study, has a terminology that is constantly developing. Computer-backed translation tools and editing/correction programs have been replaced for many years, and post-editors can integrate and/or work independently from these programs. The current study has found that the concept called end-dimensors is not included in the Turkish translation terminology, there is no fixed use of the term in the relevant literary scan. In this context, it has been seen that the post-edit word, which is often corresponding to English, is generally described in the form of post-machine translation correction for end-editers. The final translators should not only be considered related to machine translation. These programs are recommended for editors, publishers, content creators, translators, students, researchers to use the name as a final-formator because it is a software that helps to produce qualified text. This study has been conducted to allow the terminologists to be included in the Turkish translation terminology, which has been beneficial during the translation practice and the need for participation in the translation training in current research has been defended, and the terminologists have been given recommendations for terminologists (name). In the framework of the research, the importance of the term production/translation in a language has been emphasized and it has been proposed for the correspondence of the concept often referred to as post-editors in Turkish, especially in the field of translation.
