Hysterectomy is the most commonly performed major gynecological surgery. Prolapse of the fallopian tube through vaginal vault following hysterectomy is a rare complication. Incidence of posthysterectomy vaginal dehiscence has been suggested as 0.1%. In this case, we present a 44-year-old patient who was diagnosed to have vaginal vault prolapse of the fallopian tube after total abdominal hysterectomy, and her treatment via laparotomic surgery
