Abstract:

Sabahattin Ali's romanticity and narrative has wrapped the direction of poetry. Oysaki is as successful as his poetry direction, romanticity and narrative. The fact that many of his poems are composed clearly shows that he is a successful poet. This study analyses the image of the mountains in the poems of Sabahattin Ali. The main purpose of the research is to contribute to the work on Sabahattin Ali's poetry direction. The research has found that Sabahattin Ali’s poems often use the mountain image. Sabahattin Ali uses the mountain image to reflect the feelings and thoughts he lives in both the retorical and the inner world. The psychology of anxiety and fear triggers the psychology of an individual’s escape. The individual experiences the psychology of leaving the place where he is to feel confident and safe. The mountains, individuals living in the psychology of escape are insightful places. Also, its widths and heights give the individual a sense of glory. Sabahattin Ali goes to the mountains with the psychology of fear and anxiety in his poems. His desire to live in the mountains is not just caused by the psychology of leaving the place. He wants to live in the mountains with his love. The mountain object becomes a metaphor that makes his feelings, thoughts and dreams visible in his poems.

As a result of the research, it was found that Sabahattin Ali frequently used mountain image in his poems Sabahattin Ali uses the mountain image to reflect both the rhetoric and the feelings and thoughts he experiences in his inner world. The individual experiences the psychology of leaving the space to feel safe and secure. Mountains are the most reliable places for individuals with escape psychology. In addition, widths and heights give the individual a sense of glory. Sabahattin Ali, in his poems, turns to the mountains with the psychology of fear and anxiety. His desire to live in the mountains does not only stem from the psychology of leaving space. She wants to live in the mountains with the women she loves. The mountain object becomes a metaphor in his poems that makes emotions, thoughts and dreams visible.
