Abstract:

Under the title "International Immigration and Security" the book was edited by the publisher, consisting of ten articles that twelve academics had written, and also by the publisher, Gökhan Telatar1 and Hope Catikli2. The work begins with Gökhan Telatar and Hope Catikli's "Entry" section that they jointly receive. In this section, the authors pointed out that the purpose of writing of the work is to analyze the different dimensions in a comprehensive manner by moving from the idea that migration is a security issue. In this context, it has also been emphasized that the issue of migration is now an important agenda for international relations. The introduction section also contains the issues of the immigration phenomenon, what are the individual and social security issues that arise for migrants and the migrating nations, how these issues are addressed by national and international approaches, and a brief indicative information on each section. At the end of the book it was added 'dizin' and after the directory it was placed in the short resume of the writers of the section.
