Bir toplumdaki değişim ve dönüşümlerin gözlemlenebilmesi için sanat ve özelde sinema önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bir toplumun ürünü olan sinema filmleri, kimi zaman toplumun içinde bulunduğu koşullardan etkilenmekte ve kimi zaman da toplumu etkilemektedir. Bu karşılıklı etkileşim her dönem var olmakla birlikte 1980’li yıllar hem Türkiye, hem de Türk Sineması için yeni bir dönemin başlangıcı olarak kabul edilmektedir. 1980 sonrası Türk Sineması’ndaki en önemli dönüşümlerden biri kadın temsillerinin sunum biçiminde görülmüştür. Bu makale, 1980 sonrası Türk Sineması’nda kadın temsillerinin toplumsal cinsiyet bağlamında yaşadıkları sorunlara karşı geliştirdikleri direnç pratiklerini açığa çıkarmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bahsi geçen dönemde Türk Sineması’nda toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin söylencelerin devamlılığına rağmen kadınların kimlik ve cinsel kimlik arayışları ön plana çıkmıştır. Bu bağlamda bu dönemde kadın temsilleri özel ve kamusal alanda daha güçlü karakterler olarak temsil edilmeye başlanmış ve toplumsal klişeleri yıkmaya gayret göstermiştir. Mine filmindeki kadın temsilleri Türkiye’de toplumsal cinsiyet bağlamında özel ve kamusal alanda yaşanan sorunların gözlemlenmesini sağlamaktadır. Bu gözlem yapılırken feminist bakış açısı merkeze alınmıştır.
Art and cinema in particular have an important place to observe changes and transformations in a society. Films, which are the product of a society, are sometimes influenced by the circumstances within the society and sometimes affect the society. While this mutual interaction exists every period, the 1980s are considered the beginning of a new period for both Turkey and Turkish Cinema. One of the significant transformations in the Turkish Cinema after 1980 was seen in the presentation form of women’s representations. This article aims to reveal the practices of resistance that women representatives in the Turkish Cinema after 1980 developed against the problems they experienced in the context of social gender. Despite the continuity of rumors about social gender roles in the Turkish Cinema in the past period, women’s identity and sexual identity searches have come to the forefront. In this context, during this period, women’s representations began to be represented as stronger characters in the private and public sphere, and they tried to destroy social clishes. The women’s representations in the Mine film make it possible to observe the problems in the private and public sphere in the context of social gender in Turkey. At this point of view, the feminist perspective was taken to the center.
