Abstract:

The subject of energy has a great interest in the academic summer as the governments of the country. This study also examined the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth, inflation, open-source, and import variables. For this purpose, the Fourier ADF Unit Root Test was implemented in the 49-year set of data covering the period 1974-2020 in order to first study the stagnation. The results of the test showed that all the variables were stable at the I(1) level. The combination relationship between the series was then studied by the Fourier ADL test. The analysis found that there was a long-term relationship between the variables. The causality relationship between the variables was studied by the Toda Yamamoto (1995) causality test. The analysis resulted in the economic growth and energy consumption, the dual cause between import and energy consumption, the one-way cause from energy consumption to curriculum and the one-way cause from inflation to energy consumption.
