According to the adaptive information processing model, the brain makes the information it reaches through a physiological-based system functional. In this process, any experience that damages the individual's mental and physical existence is called trauma. This experience causes mental and physical diseases such as post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, personality disorder. In the treatment of these diseases, eye movements and dissensitivity and re-treatment (EMDR) are a physiological-based therapy method that enables the processing of isolated memories. The aim of this study is to implement active EMDR software for those who have difficulty moving their eye movements systematically and to determine the contribution of visual and hearing stimuli used during treatment to the patient’s attention and meditation. A graphic user interface (GUI) for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is prepared according to the purpose with the MATLAB program. Concentration and meditation data have been taken from 10 different volunteers with the Neurosky device to determine the effectiveness of the implemented system and the optimal parameters of visual/hearing parameters. Visual stimulants increased concentration by 14.72 percent and meditation by 6.5 percent. There is a ratio of 0.73 between focus and meditation data. Hearing alarms, unlike visual alarms, have increased their meditation values while the focus of the viewers is reduced at 250Hz. During the right-left eye movements, it has been found that giving different frequencies of hearing stimuli to the sensors can increase or decrease concentration while it does not affect the sensors' meditation. It is also found that giving different frequencies of hearing stimuli to the sensors during the up-to-down eye movements may increase or decrease meditation while it does not affect the sensors' concentration. The findings obtained from the study show that different alarm groups applied in the active EMDR method can be used to control people’s attention and meditation.
