Abstract:

In this study, it is aimed at studying the perceptions of primary mathematics teachers candidates towards the identification of superior skilled students.  The teachers will be able to identify the characteristics of their candidates when they are teachers in the future, and they will be able to identify the characteristics of their candidates as a measure. To increase the number of candidates by making proper decisions, it is important that teachers have the right perceptions of superior talented students. Teachers who work in the stages of identification and training of top-talent students, which are extremely important for the future of our country, must have a good education and an open, detailed consideration in this regard. This really moves, the courses related to the recognition, training and awarding to society of superior-talent students should be included in all educational faculty, regardless of the division difference. As many characteristics that are compatible with literature were detected at the end of the study, some characteristics of personality that cannot be used as a distinctive diagnosis that exists in each person were found to be generalized by the teacher candidates as a superior skill/capacity character. Similarly, a variety of studies can be done on the perceptions of the teachers who are already in office and the experiences of the teachers who recognize a superior skilled student or students, where these perceptions change or not based on branches. There is a need for thorough and thorough work on the subject.
