POSTMODERN GİYİM MODASINDA PARODİ KAVRAMI

Postmodern süreçte sanat ve tasarım alanında yapılan çalışmalarla, toplumsal değerler sistemi sorgulanarak yeni bir görsel etik benimsenmiş ve keskin sınırlar azalmaya başlamıştır. Yüksek kültür ve kitle kültürü arasındaki mevcut hiyerarşik ayrımın kaybolmasıyla, diğer sanat disiplinlerindeki gibi moda tasarımında da yeniden üretim etkin olmuş ve eklektizmle harmanlanan kodlar, üslup melezliği yaratmıştır. Moda çalışmalarında, eklektik ögelerin kullanımıyla farklı disiplinlerde de kendisine geniş bir uygulama alanı bulan parodi kavramının öne çıktığı görülmektedir. Postmodern dönemde yapılan giyim modası alanındaki tasarımlarla, tarz eklektizminin dinamik ögeleri arasında yer alan parodi terimine yeni anlamlar yüklenmiş ve moda tarihinde yer edinen spesifik formlar, yeniden üretimle işlevlendirilmiştir. Bu makalede, günümüz giyim modasında öne çıkan parodi kavram ve üslubunun araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Çağdaş giyim modası tarihinde bu yaklaşımı benimseyen tasarımcılar ve çalışmaları tespit edilerek, kullanım amaçları sorgulanmış ve karakteristik örnekleri irdelenmiştir. Seçilen örnekler, atıfta bulunulan öncel kaynakla birlikte değerlendirilmiş, tasarımcıların tasarım felsefeleri ve parodi üslubunun kullanım nedenlerinden doğan sonuçlar belirtilmiştir.

The Concept Of Parody In Postmodern Clothing Fashion

With the studies carried out in the field of art and design in the postmodern process, a new visual ethic has been adopted by questioning the social value system, and sharp boundaries have begun to decrease. With the disappearance of the existing hierarchical distinction between high culture and mass culture, reproduction became effective in fashion design just as in other art disciplines, and the codes that blended with eclecticism created wording hybridity. In fashion studies, it is seen that the parody concept, which -with the use of eclectic elements, gained a wide range of applications in different disciplines too, became prominent. With the designs created in clothing fashion during the postmodern period, new meanings were attached to the term parody, one the dynamic elements of style eclecticism, and the specific forms which got a foothold in fashion history were functionalize with reproduction. In this article, it is aimed to analyse the parody concept and style, which is prominent in today’s clothing fashion. By determining the designers and their works that adopted this approach in contemporary clothing fashion history, their intended use was questioned and the characteristic examples were studied. Together with the cited primary source, the examples that were chosen were evaluated, and the philosophies of the designers and the results occurred with the reasoning of the use of parody style were determined.
