Ayrıca, fen bilimi ve felsefenin birbirinden nasıl beslendiklerini, insanın doğayla olan tecrübesi üzerinde düşünürken yaşadığı kültürün ne derece etkili olduğunu gözler önüne sermektedir. Collingwood\'un “ Doğa Tasarımı” nın Fen öğrencilerine işledikleri konular üzerinde düşünme, eleştiri yapmaThe purpose of this study is to deal with Collingwood\'s understanding of philosophy and the “idea of nature” processes in the history of European thought. Collingwood\'s “idea of nature” summarizes people\'s views of nature in European thought through history and process strongly how they envisage it. And it enables people to help discussing the principles and assumptions on which science is based. It reveals clearly that how science of nature and philosophy are nourished from each other and what extent to the culture he live in affect while one think about his own experience concerning nature. It is believed that Collingwood\'s “idea of nature” would have the important functions such as having them think about their science curriculum topics, and realizing the principles and assumptions for science students.Collingwood R.
