Abstract:

Pictured children's books that provide science-themed information in pre-school science education are very important in the provision of scientific knowledge and in the development of scientific process skills. Research conducted in the summer of the national and international field shows that pre-school teachers have a pre-judicial and low self-sufficiency belief against the fate, and the knowledge of the concept of science is not sufficient. At this point, the picturesque children's books that provide science-themed information in pre-school science education are one of the most basic resources that children need and pre-school teachers and families can use. The objective of this study is to introduce the typical historic and direct information types of such books in accordance with the published international scientific content standards for pre-school science education and to submit suggestions on how they can be used in the educational process by sampling in the framework of the drawing characteristics called science painting in the field. When the area is examined in the summer, it is believed that this study will keep light to the pre-school teachers, families and experts working in the field because there is no work done on this subject in our country.
