Mesleki öğrenme toplulukları (MÖT), eğitim faaliyetlerini daha nitelikli bir noktaya taşımak amacıyla, öğretmenlerin bir araya gelerek uygulamalarını çeşitlendirmeleridir. Araştırmanın amacı, okul öncesi eğitim kurumları yöneticilerinin MÖT’ na ilişkin görüşlerini incelemektir. Araştırmada olgubilim desen kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubu amaçlı ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Osmaniye İli Merkez İlçesindeki resmi 10 anaokulu yöneticisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Veriler içerik analiz yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Okul öncesi eğitim yöneticilerinin verdikleri yanıtlar analiz edildiğinde, MÖT uygulamalarının kuramsal temelleri okul yöneticileri ve öğretmenler tarafından tam olarak kavranamadığından uygulamalarda aksayan bazı yönler olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bunlardan en belirgin olanları ise geri bildirim ve değerlendirme süreçlerinin çoğu yöneticinin görev yaptığı okulda uygulanmamış olmasıdır. Lider ve zaman ile ilgili sınırlılıklar da yöneticilerin sıklıkla değindikleri konulardır.
Professional learning communities (PLC) are teachers coming together and diversifying their practices in order to carry their educational activities to a more qualified level. The aim of the research is to examine the opinions of preschool education institutions administrators regarding PLC. A phenomenological design was used in the research. The study group was determined by purposeful criterion sampling method. The study group of the research consists of 10 official kindergarten administrators in the Central District of Osmaniye Province. A semi-structured interview form was used in the research. The data were analyzed using the content analysis method. When the answers given by pre-school education administrators were analyzed, it was concluded that there were some deficiencies in the practices because the theoretical foundations of PLC practices were not fully understood by school administrators and teachers. The most obvious of these is that feedback and evaluation processes have not been implemented in the schools where most administrators work. Limitations regarding leadership and time are also topics that managers frequently mention.
