This article discusses development of speech skills and abilities when teaching languages to students of non-linguistic universities using electronic resources. In accordance with the psychological theory of activity, learning of any kind of activity occurs in the process of its implementation, actions and operations associated with it. Therefore, in order to teach students various types of speech activity, it is necessary to provide practice to each of them in the type of speech activity that he masters in a given period of time. At the heart of the formation of skills in any kind of foreign language speech activity are auditory motor skills.
