SAĞLIK ÇALIŞANLARINDA EKİP ÇALIŞMASI TUTUMLARININ İNCELENMESİ

Abstract:

Bu çalışma, sağlık çalışanlarının ekip çalışmasına ilişkin tutumlarını belirlemek ve sağlık çalışanlarının ekip çalışması tutumlarının sosyo-demografik değişkenlere göre farklılık oluşturup oluşturmadığını incelemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırma, Kırıkkale Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi’nde görev yapmakta olan 321 sağlık çalışanı ile anket yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler, SPSS programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre, ekip çalışması alt boyutları arasında en yüksek ortalamanın, liderlik (4,25±0,62) alt boyutunda ve en düşük ortalamanın ise karşılıklı destek alt boyutunda (3,38±0,65) olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada katılımcıların karşılıklı destek alt boyutundan almış oldukları puanlarının yaşlarına, cinsiyetlerine, eğitim durumuna, görev unvanına ve birimde çalışma süresine göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca katılımcıların ekip yapısı alt boyutundan almış oldukları puanlarının görev unvanına göre kurumsal iletişim alt boyutundan almış oldukları puanlarının ise yaşlarına göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar gösterdiği saptanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda sağlık kurumlarında ekip çalışmasını oluşturan temel bileşenlerin (ekip yapısı, liderlik, durum izleme, karşılıklı destek ve kurumsal iletişim), sağlık çalışanlarının sosyo-demografik özelliklerinden ne düzeyde etkilendiği ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Sağlık hizmetleri yöneticilerinin sağladığı bireysel, kurumsal ve hastaya yönelik faydaları nedeniyle, ekip çalışmasını destekleyici bir örgüt kültürü oluşturmaları ve meslekler arası ekip çalışmasının önemi konusunda çalışanların farkındalıklarını artırmaları önerilebilir.

Abstract:

This study was carried out to determine the attitudes of healthcare workers towards teamwork and to study whether the attitudes of healthcare workers towards teamwork make differences according to socio-demographic variables. The research was carried out using the survey method with 321 health workers working at the University of Kırıkkale Medical School Hospital. The data is analyzed with the SPSS program. According to the results obtained from the study, the high average between the underdimensions of teamwork was determined, the leadership (4.25±0.62) underdimensions, and the subdimensions of mutual support (3.38±0.65) underdimensions. The study found that the points that the participants received from the sub-dimensional mutual support showed statistically significant differences according to their age, gender, educational status, title and time of work in the unit. In addition, it is found that the participants have received points from the team structure underlying, according to the task title; the points they have received from the corporate communication underlying, and statistically significant differences according to their age. The research has found how the basic components that make up teamwork in health institutions (team structure, leadership, state monitoring, mutual support and corporate communication) are affected by the socio-demographic characteristics of health workers. Due to the individual, corporate and patient benefits provided by healthcare managers, it may be recommended that they create a organizational culture that supports teamwork and increase the awareness of employees about the importance of interprofessional teamwork.

Abstract:

The aim of the study is to determine the attitudes of healthcare professionals about teamwork and to examine whether teamwork attitudes of healthcare professionals differ according to socio-demographic variables. The research is carried out by using the questionnaire method with 321 healthcare professionals in Kırıkkale University Medical Faculty Hospital. The data is analysed by SPSS program. According to the results obtained from the study, it is determined that the highest average among the teamwork sub-dimensions is in the leadership sub-dimension (4.25±0.62) and the lowest average is in the mutual support sub-dimension (3.38±0.65). In the study, it is found that the scores of the participants from the mutual support subdimension reveal statistically significant differences according to their age, gender, educational background, job title and working time in the unit. In addition, it is also found that the scores obtained from the team structure subdimension of the participants differ according to their job title, and the scores obtained from the corporate communication sub-dimension reveal statistically significant differences according to their age. As a result of the research, it is determined to what extent the basic components (team structure, leadership, status monitoring, mutual support and corporate communication) that make up teamwork in health organizations affect the socio-demographic characteristics of healthcare professionals. Due to the individual, institutional and patient benefits it provides, it can be recommended that healthcare managers create an organizational culture that supports teamwork and raise awareness of the importance of teamwork among professionals.
