From birth to birth, we find ourselves within social and cultural life. It is the connection that the person makes it part of the society in which he lives, the connection that he establishes with his surroundings, that is, the communication with the outside world. The most effective vehicle in mass communication means is television. Television is a wide range of mass communications in the world, from information flow to the transmission of different ethnic cultures.  Documentary, music and news programs, films and series are delivered to large audiences through this communication tool. Television series are the most effective mass tools that influence broad public masses and can create perceptions as if the fiction is realised. Historical series are visual works that cover historical events. Historical films play an important role in the understanding of history and teaching history, especially as visual works that are interested in our society. How faithful is the writer to historical events in this visual work? Did the producer make a series of shootings with the concern of viewing or the viewers are making a series of shootings with the aim of creating history consciousness? What is the benefits of education?

This study was conducted for "Evaluation of the impact of historical series (Wake Up: Great Selçuklu, Alparslan: Great Selçuklu, Resurrection: Ertuğrul, Organization: Osman) on the materialization/fortification of cultural concepts in social knowledge lessons." The research method has been used. 6th and 7th in a public school. He has seen class subjects and continuously watching popular history series. The study was conducted with the participation of 23 students. In the study, the data obtained from the form prepared for students and face-to-face interviews notes were used.

How faithful is the screenwriter to historical facts/events in this visual work? Did the producer shoot the series with the fear of being watched or to create a historical awareness for the audience? What are the benefits for education? 

This study was conducted for the "Evaluation of the Effect of Historical TV Series (Awakening: Great Seljuk, Alparslan: Great Seljuk, Diriliş: Ertuğrul, Establishment: Osman) on the Concretization/Reinforcement of Cultural Concepts in Social Studies courses". Qualitative research method was used in the research. The research was continued with the participation of 23 8th grade students who watched the 6th and 7th grade subjects in a public school and constantly watched popular history series. In the research, the data obtained from the forms prepared for the students and the notes of the face-to-face interviews were used.
