Abstract:

Social Knowledge began to be taught in educational institutions in the United States in the 19th century as a course. The main reason for this course to take its place in the curriculum was to overcome the social confusion that was experienced in those years, to unite the whole nation under the identity of a common US citizen.  Therefore, the purpose of creating a common citizen identity is to change the social information course according to the changing conditions of the age, it is inevitable to update it. One of the organizations that carries out important work on the subject is the National Social Information Council (NCSS), which was founded in the 1990s. One of the most important work led by this Council, which is the pioneer of the “New Social Information” movement, is the program work called School, Occupation and Civil Life (C3) Framework. This study also has achievements in the disciplines of Citizenship, Economy, Geography and History, which form the foundation of the C3 Framework, 5, 6 and 7. The class is aimed at comparing the achievements of groups, institutions and social organizations involved in the Social Information Program; Power, Management and Society; Production, Distribution and Consumption; People, Places and Environments; Culture and Heritage. The data of the research carried out by adopting the quality research approach has been obtained through the document review. The data obtained from the research was analyzed according to the phases of the document review. The results of the study are generally evaluated in the C3 Framework Program 5, 6 and 7. Class Social Information Program has a approach that is based only on the disciplines of Citizenship, Economy, History and Geography, C3 Framework Program explains these disciplines with the title "Disciplinary Concepts and Instruments" instead of the learning field, Geographic Designs of the Geographic Discipline: Space Images of the World, Human Environment Interaction: Places, Regions and Culture Human Population: Space Structures and Movements Global Communication: Space Structures Change with the disciplinary concepts; Citizenship Discipline with the title "Civil and Political Institutions, Contribution to the Programme, Procedures, Procedures, and Concepts of the Geographic Discipline: Space Images of the World, Human Environment Interaction: Places, Regions and Culture Human Population: Space Structures and Movements Global Communication: Space Structures Change with the Disciplinary Concepts;
