Sınıf Öğretmeni Adaylarının Kesirlerde Toplama İşlemi İle İlgili Öğretim Stratejilerinin İncelenmesi

Bu araştırmada, sınıf öğretmenliği programı 3. sınıf öğrencilerinin 2/7+1 3/7 şeklindeki bir soruyla kesirlerde toplama işleminin öğretimine yönelik farklı stratejilerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bir devlet üniversitesinde öğrenim gören 46 sınıf öğretmeni adayının katıldığı bu çalışmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden biri olan durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde içerik ve betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre öğretmen adaylarının kullandıkları stratejiler arasında modellere daha çok yer verdikleri, bunlar arasında en çok bölge ve sayı doğrusu modelini kullandıkları, küme, birim kesir ve diğer gösterim biçimlerini daha az kullandıkları ortaya çıkmıştır. Tüm öğretim stratejileri incelendiğinde eksik ve yetersiz gösterimlerin yoğunlukta olması, öğretmen adaylarının alan bilgisi ve alanı öğretme bilgisi anlamında yetersiz olduklarını ortaya koymuştur. Öğretim stratejilerinin etkili ve yeterli kullanılması için, adayların düşünme becerilerinin ve öğretimsel açıklamalarının geliştirilebileceği uygun ortamlar oluşturulması önerilmektedir.

Review of the teaching strategies related to the process of gathering of classmates candidates

Abstract:

In this study, the purpose of the classroom teaching program is to study the different strategies for teaching the process of gathering in cuts with a question in the form of 2/7+1 3/7 of the third class students. The study, in which 46 class teachers candidates who studied at a state university participated, used the case study, which is one of the quality research patterns. In the analysis of data, content and visual analysis were used. According to the results obtained, the teaching candidates have shown that among the strategies they use, they have given more place to the models, among them they use the most area and number-like model, they use the group, unit cutting and other forms of display less. When all the teaching strategies are studied, the lack and insufficient demonstrations are in intensity, and the teaching candidates are insufficient in terms of field knowledge and field teaching knowledge. For effective and adequate use of teaching strategies, it is recommended to create appropriate environments where the candidates can develop their thinking skills and teaching explanations.

In this study, it was aimed to examine the different strategies of the 3rd grade students of the primary school teaching department with the question of 2/7+1 3/7 . In this study, 46 pre-service teachers studying a public university participated, which is a case study which is one of the qualitative research designs. The data were subjected to content and descriptive analysis. According to the results, it was found out that the pre-service teachers mostly used models among the strategies they used do. They mostly used the region model and the number line model, less the cluster model, the unit fraction model, and other notation forms. When all teaching strategies are examined, the density of missing and inadequate representations, revealed that pre-service teachers were inadequate in terms of content knowledge and content teaching knowledge. To use teaching strategies effectively and adequately, it is recommended to generate suitable environments in which pre-service teachers' thinking skills and instructional explanations can be developed.
