Araştırmada sınıf eğitimi lisans programı 2. , 3. ve 4. sınıfta okuyan sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının özel öğrenme güçlüğü yaşayan öğrencilere yönelik yeterlikleri ve bu yeterliklerinin sınıf düzeyi ve cinsiyet değişkeni açısından farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını tespit etmek amaçlanmıştır. Sınıf eğitimi öğrencilerinin özel öğrenme güçlüğü yaşayan öğrencilere yönelik yeterliklerini incelemek amacıyla bir tarama yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören 2., 3. ve 4. sınıfta okuyan 150 sınıf eğitimi öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın verileri betimsel istatistiki testler (frekans, yüzde ve aritmetik ortalama), Mann Withney U ve Kruskal Wallıs H Testleri ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinden ulaşılan sonuçlara göre öğretmen yeterlikleri ölçeğinden elde edilen puan ortalamalarının oldukça yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca sınıf eğitimi öğrencilerinin özel öğrenme güçlüğü yaşayan öğrencilere yönelik yeterliklerinin cinsiyet ve sınıf düzeyi değişkenine göre farklılaşmadığı tespit edilmiştir
The aim of this study was to determine the competence of the prospective primary teachers in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades of the undergraduate education program for students with specific learning disabilities and whether these competencies differ in terms of grade level and gender variable. The research is descriptive and this study utilizes general screening model. The research group consisted of 150 preservice primary teachers studying at the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades in Ondokuz Mayıs University in 2018-2019 academic year. The obtained data were analyzed by descriptive statistical tests (frequency, percentage and arithmetic mean), Mann Withney U and Kruskal Wallis H Tests. According to the results obtained from the analysis of the data, it was concluded that the mean scores obtained from teacher competence scale were quite high. In addition, it was found that preservice primary teachers' competencies for students with specific learning dissabilities did not differ according to gender and grade level variable.
